Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Tuesday that India now replies with strength instead of remaining silent and if someone imposes war on the country, it will be answered as Operation Sindoor.
Appreciating 11 years of the Modi government at the Center, he said that these years would be remembered as a “golden period” in the creation of developed and self -sufficient India.
Referring to the Operation Sindoor launched after the Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April, he said, “If someone imposes war or promotes terrorism, the answer will be surgical strike, air strike and operation vermilion.”
Criticizing the previous governments at the Center, he said, “Before 2014, there was a tendency to remain inactive on issues like terrorism in the country. The story was that India is a nation that only advocates peace – no matter what the circumstances are.” Addressing a gathering on the completion of 11 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership at the Center, he said, “There was a tendency to chant the mantra of peace in front of aggression. That mentality took deep roots.”
He said, “But through the ‘new general’ established under the current leadership, that approach has been completely reversed. Now, India responds with strength, not with silence.” He said, “In the last 11 years, Prime Minister Modi has given India a separate global identity. His rule is identified with service, good administration and welfare of the poor.”
The Chief Minister said that the country has got such leadership which is free from corruption, dynastic politics and appeasement.
He said that under Modi’s leadership, India has emerged as a symbol of faith for its 140 crore citizens and recited its honor on the global stage, claiming that the Congress and other “unstable” governments had decreased during 65 years.
The Chief Minister said, “The concept of” Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat “is now coming true under a strong and decisive leadership.”
