Punjab-Haryana High Court threatened to bomb

A big news is coming out from Chandigarh. The Punjab and Haryana High Court have received threats to bomb. This threat is given via email. The campus has been stirred up since the Punjab and Haryana High Court threatened to blow through email. The police evacuated the High Court premises in a hurry. After vacating the campus, security officials are conducting intensive search operations with the help of Bomb Squad team and sniper dog.

Chief Justice and lawyers are also being sent out from the High Court premises and no one is being allowed inside. According to the report of news agency IANS, all the big officers of Chandigarh Police have reached the High Court campus and are taking stock of the security arrangements. Security has also been increased in the surrounding areas, such as Punjab Assembly and Secretariat,. Sartej Narula, president of the Punjab Haryana High Court Bar Association, said that through email the High Court has been threatened with bombs. After the threat, the police have evacuated the entire campus from the security point of view. All the senior police officers and bomb squads are present on the spot. Every day 6 to 7 thousand lawyers and about 5 thousand people come here.

Narula further said that we had demanded from the Chief Justice that if a lawyer wants to appear through the VC, it can happen. Apart from this, if no lawyer is present, no order should be issued against him. There is an atmosphere of tension between Pakistan and India. Punjab is a border state, at such a time, threatening to bomb the Punjab and Haryana courts is worrying for the central and state governments.
