West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday urged the protesting teachers to return to work and assured them that the government would take care of their salary.
Thousands of teachers who lost their jobs are demonstrating after a Supreme Court verdict. His performance continued on Tuesday outside the West Bengal School Services Commission (WBSSC) headquarters at Salt Lake.
Mamta Banerjee said, “You don’t need to worry about who is tainted and who is not.
Banerjee said in an administrative program in Midnapore, “We assure that your job is still safe and you will get your salary.” Please go back to your schools and resume classes. I have talked about this several times since last night. We are with you. ”
The Chief Minister said that a review petition for the employees of Group ‘C’ and ‘D’ will also be filed in the Supreme Court and “maintain our faith till then”.
Banerjee also said that she will visit the turbulent areas of Murshidabad in the first week of May.
