Tejashwi Yadav caught in trouble, FIR lodged in case of objectionable remarks on Modi

Shahjahanpur District Police has registered an FIR against former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav for alleged objectionable remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A senior police officer gave this information on Saturday.

The official said that this FIR has been lodged on the Tahrir of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) city president Shilpi Gupta.

The complaint stated that a posted from the official X handle of RJD was posted. This post was done at 6:58 am on Friday. It is alleged that objectionable remarks were made on Prime Minister Modi in this post. The post of the Prime Minister was also put in the post. The complainant has presented the copy of the post as evidence in the trial.

Shahjahanpur SP Rajesh Dwivedi said that a case has been filed under sections 353 (2) and 197 (1) (A) of BNS. The police is investigating the matter BNS is a new law that will replace the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Complaint filed against Tejashwi in Maharashtra too

A case has also been registered against Tejashwi Yadav in Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra. A senior police officer gave this information. He said that BJP MLA Milind Narote from Gadchiroli had given a complaint against RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav. The official said that an FIR has been lodged against Yadav under Section 196 (promoting enmity between various groups), section 356 (defamation), section 352 (deliberately insulting the peace) and Section 353 (statement causing public system) against Yadav.
