Madhya Pradesh Weather Update: At a time when people are celebrating Dussehra, a big change can be seen in the weather of Madhya Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for heavy rain with thunderstorms in different parts of MP during the next 24 hours. Heavy rain may also be seen at some places. During this period, winds will blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. Yellow alert of storm, rain and lightning has also been issued at many places.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain bad in different parts of Madhya Pradesh for the next three days. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert of strong winds at the speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour and heavy rain with thunder in different parts of Betul, Khargone, Barwani and Dhar districts during the next 24 hours. Warning of heavy rain has also been issued at some places.

Apart from this, 30 to 40 km per hour speed was observed in Harda, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Indore, Ratlam, Ujjain, Dewas, Dindori, Chhindwara, Seoni, Pandhurna, Sihore, Narmadapuram, Shivpuri, Jabalpur, Narisinhpur, Mandla and Balaghat districts. A yellow alert has been issued for high-speed winds and rain with thunder. Showers can also be seen at many other places.

Meteorologists say that there is a low pressure area over the East Central Arabian Sea. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the central Arabian Sea by the morning of 13 October. Not only this, a cyclonic circulation has formed over the south-east Bay of Bengal and the adjacent equatorial Indian Ocean. Under its influence, a low pressure area is likely to form over south-west Bay of Bengal around October 14. The effect of these weather systems can also be seen on the plains.
