He used to send it to Mantu Singh. Mantu Singh used to supply it to local vendors under the supervision of Deepak Chaudhary. It was only through these vendors that liquor reached the drinkers. The DIG said that the courier involved in this case will be identified and action will be taken against him.

Everyone died due to liquor from Bhagwanpur Haat.

So far 37 people have died in the areas of Mashrak in Saran district, Bhagwanpur Haat and Gopalganj in Siwan district. Of these, 28 people died in Siwan, seven in Saran district and two in Gopalganj district. These people had died after drinking liquor which had come from Bhagwanpur Haat. The DIG said that on the instructions of the DGP of Bihar, two teams have been formed in both the districts. A team was formed for investigation and another team for raid. These teams are continuously taking action. Two FIRs have been registered regarding this incident in Saran and Siwan districts.

Taking action, Saran and Siwan police have arrested Mantu Singh and Deepak Chaudhary, the primary accused in the case. Deepak is a resident of Purushotipur of Janata Bazar police station area. 14 people have been arrested in this case. 26 people have been named. The DIG said that the police officers of both the districts have done better work. SIT team is conducting raids in Uttar Pradesh and another state adjoining Bihar.

The names of Abha Kumari, Ganesh Singh of Kaudiya Besay Tola, Mahesh Gupta of Bhatpar Rani Bhind Mishra of Deoria district, Deepak Chaudhary of Purushotipur of Janta Bazar police station area are included. Those who surrendered include Motilal Rai, Chhotu Manjhi, Ravindra Shah.
