Bihar junior doctors stipend hike: The decision was taken on Tuesday, 2 September in the cabinet meeting of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The government announced an increase in their stipend by giving gifts to junior doctors doing internships. The first 20 thousand rupees per month’s stipend has now increased to 27 thousand rupees, which is being considered a big gift for junior doctors.
This benefit will be given directly to the junior doctors doing internships in government medical colleges, dental colleges, Ayurvedic, Unani, Homeopathic, foreign medical practices and science. Along with this, the stipend of doctors doing internships in physiotherapy has also been increased by Rs 5,000. Earlier they used to get Rs 15,000, which has now been increased to Rs 20,000. Junior doctors were earlier given a stipend of Rs 20,000 during the internship, which has now been increased to Rs 27,000.
Approval of 20 thousand crores for women’s employment
The Bihar government approved it on Friday, August 29 in a cabinet meeting promoting ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Employment Scheme’. Under this scheme, a woman of each family will be given initial assistance of Rs 10,000. After six months, an additional assistance of Rs 2 lakh will also be provided to the woman. The Finance Department has approved an amount of Rs 20,000 crore from the Bihar Contingency Fund.
International level stadium will be built in Dumri
The cabinet has approved the construction of a grand stadium at Dumri in Punpun block of Patna district. For this, approval of 574 crore 33 lakh 90 thousand 125 has been received for the acquisition of 100 acres of land. This stadium will be capable of various sports events and will provide a platform to organize national and international competitions.
Increase in honorarium under ‘Swachh Gram rich village’ scheme
An important decision has been taken under the ‘Swachh Gram rich village’ initiative running under the seven decision-2 of the Bihar government. Under this scheme, a 30% increase in the original honorarium of all the officers associated with cleanliness like State Advisor, Finance Manager, Project Manager, Lekhpal, District Coordinator and Block Coordinator has been approved. This additional amount will be in addition to the amount received under the Swachh Bharat Mission, and the state government will fulfill the remaining amount with its resources.
