500 kg drugs caught in Gujarat

The biggest operation against drugs has been conducted in Porbandar, Gujarat. This is the biggest operation conducted by ATS, NCB and Navy in the waters of Gujarat. Let us tell you that in this operation which lasted till late night, more than 500 kg of drugs have been seized and further action is being taken. However, this is not the first time that such a huge consignment of drugs has been seized in Gujarat. In fact, for some time now, drugs are being smuggled into states like Gujarat and Mumbai through the Arabian Sea. Earlier, a factory manufacturing Mephedrone was busted in Valsad district of Gujarat. During this period, 3 people were also arrested.

Big success against drugs in Gujarat

During this period, drugs worth about Rs 25 crore were seized from the factory. Issuing a press release regarding this, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence said that based on a specific information, DRI teams from Surat and Vapi conducted a search operation at various locations of GIEDC at Umargam and Dehri in Valsad district. During this time the factory was found to be involved in illegal manufacturing of synthetic drugs. The DRI said a team from the Forensic Science Laboratory, Valsad, confirmed the presence of suspected psychotropic substance Mephedrone found in the factory.

Cocaine found in Muzaffarpur

In this series, the DRI team got a big success in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar on Friday. Here, cocaine worth Rs 42 crore has been seized from a person. Let us tell you that the case is of November 13 when 4.2 kg of cocaine was seized from the accused. Let us tell you that the price of cocaine in the international market is said to be Rs 42 crore. An Indian citizen has been arrested in this case. Let us tell you that an Indian citizen has been found involved in drug smuggling from Thailand to India.
