Attempt to overturn train near Surat
Surat: There has been a conspiracy to overturn a train in Surat, Gujarat. Fish plates and keys on the track have been removed and thrown away. A major accident has been averted due to timely information. The track has been repaired and the route has been made operational. The incident is from Vadodara division of Gujarat.
What is the whole matter?
Near Kim station near Surat in Gujarat, the fish plate and keys on the track were opened and thrown away to derail the train, but due to the presence of mind of the keyman, a major train accident was averted. Today morning at around 5 am, when railway keyman Subhash Kumar went to inspect the track, he saw that the fish plate on the track had been opened and the keys had been thrown to the side.
The keyman immediately informed the station master and RPF about the incident. The railway administration also immediately swung into action and the track was repaired so that the operation of trains on the route is not disrupted.
The incident happened this morning. Actually when the track man went to inspect the track at around 5:40 am, he saw that the fish plate on the track had been opened and the keys had been thrown aside. The station master and RPF were informed about the entire incident. The track was repaired as soon as possible so that the movement of trains does not stop. According to the railways, the movement of trains was stopped due to timely information. A major accident was averted.
