Arvind Kejriwal congratulated Omar Abdullah on becoming the CM of Jammu and Kashmir and also announced his formal support to him.
Aam Aadmi Party national convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal addressed a rally in Doda, Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday. During this, he congratulated Omar Abdullah on becoming the CM of Jammu and Kashmir and also announced his formal support to him. However, during this time he has also made a demand from him.
Actually, Kejriwal wants that Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Doda Mehraj Malik should also get a place in the Jammu and Kashmir government and he appealed to Omar Abdullah for the same. Along with this, he also extended a helping hand towards Omar Abdullah. Addressing the rally, he said, Omar Abdullah is going to become the Chief Minister of INDIA alliance. We will fully support him so that his government can function properly.
He said, the BJP central government has made Jammu and Kashmir a half state like Delhi. If Omar Abdullah Saheb faces any problem in running the government then he should ask me, I have successfully run the government in Delhi. We are formally supporting Omar Abdullah ji and hope that he will also give responsibility to Mehraj Malik Bhai in the government.
Targeted at PM Modi
During this, he also fiercely targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said, Modi ji says that Arvind Kejriwal gives free speech. Yes, Modi ji, I give free Revadi to the people of Delhi. If you have the courage then stop and show it. Modi ji, you take the children’s school money and give it to your friend Adani, I give free food to 3 crore people of Delhi.
Addressing the rally in Doda, he said, you people have created history. You have sown the seeds of a new type of politics. Aam Aadmi Party does politics of building schools and hospitals, providing free electricity and treatment. You name one party which has come to you and said that vote for us, we will build schools for your children.
Arvind Kejriwal said, the people of Delhi had trusted me in 2013 and entrusted me with the responsibility and today, by trusting Mehraj Malik, you have entrusted him with the responsibility. When we fought against corruption, everyone laughed at us. But we have shown this by contesting the elections honestly, winning them and have also been running the government honestly for ten years.
