PM Modi Defends Anti-Corruption Bill in Bihar, Sparks Opposition Uproar | 'Why did PM's chair survive ...' Modi said openly on the bill in Bihar, there was a panic in opposition. News Track in Hindi

PM modi in bihar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived in Bihar, has recently defended a very strict bill introduced in Parliament. Under this bill, if a Prime Minister, Chief Minister or Minister is arrested on serious allegations and is kept in custody more than 30 days, his post will automatically end. PM Modi made a sharp comment on this saying, “When a clerk’s job goes away when he goes to jail, then why should the Prime Minister’s chair be saved?” His statement reflects his government’s ‘zero tolerance’ policy against corruption, which has created panic in the entire opposition.

What is a new law?

This bill is the 130th Constitution Amendment, which aims to eliminate corruption from politics. PM Modi supported this law saying, “We have recently seen how the files were being signed from jail and government orders were being extracted.” He said that if this attitude of the leaders, then how will the fight against corruption be fought? This law will ensure that any leader, no matter how big it is, cannot escape allegations of corruption. If the PM or CM did not get bail within 30 days, he will have to leave his chair on the 31st day.

Why is the opposition opposing?

PM Modi targeted parties like Congress, Left and RJD opposing this law. He said, “These people are very angry. Who does not know what these people are afraid of, who has sinned, he hides it.” The PM said that the leaders who are roaming out on bail are opposing this law because they are afraid that if they go to jail, all their dreams will be crushed. He also accused the opposition of opposing the work of public interest. This bill has become a major political issue, where on the one hand the government is calling it a decisive step against corruption, on the other hand the opposition is calling it inspired by the spirit of political revenge.

Expect transparency and honesty

PM Modi said that the constitution expects honesty and transparency from every public representative. He said that we cannot see the dignity of the Constitution being wired. For this reason, the NDA government has brought such a law, under which the Prime Minister of the country is also. This law can add a new chapter in India’s politics, where the old tradition of running the government by sitting in jail will end. It will be interesting to see how this bill passes in Parliament and what effect it has on Indian politics.
