Accused arrested in temple arrested
The police have made their strategy hi -tech to control the incidents of crime in Gujarat. Recently, Dahod police busted a large theft gang via drone, in which the accused were involved in theft incidents in various temples in Rajasthan and Gujarat.
The incidents of theft in Dahod district were continuously increasing, to prevent which Dahod police conducted a special investigation campaign. During this time, LCB police arrested one accused Rajesh alias Raji Lala Bhabhor, one of the theft incidents in Someshwar Mahadev temple. The accused belongs to Matwa, Makhodia Faliu, Taluka Garbada, who was also accused of theft in two Jain temples and Radha Krishna temples in Rajasthan.
The accused started running away
The police had received information that the accused was present at his house, but when the police reached there, the accused started trying to escape. After this, the police chased the accused using the drone and chased him in the fields for about one kilometer and caught him. The accused was then brought to the police station, where he accepted his misdeeds, stating that he and his companions were involved in theft incidents in many places in Dahod and Rajasthan.
Used to steal in temples
In further interrogation, another accused Dilip Manilal Soni’s name came up. Dileep along with his colleagues bought capital goods to steal at Vadodara, Dahod, Gandhinagar, Panchmahal and other places. Police recovered silver jewelery and a motorcycle from both the accused, which cost Rs 7,32,700. Police investigation revealed that these accused used to search on Google about temples and then carried out the theft incident in those temples.
