The killers caught from Birbhum and Border
Hargobind Das and Chandan Das were killed in the violence on April 10 and 12 in Murshidabad district. Both are father and son in the relationship. Now the Bengal Police has apprehended 2 accused in this case. His names are Kalu Nadab and Dildar Nadab. Police arrested one of the accused from Birbhum and another accused from Bangladesh border.

What happened in Bengal?
There were violent protests against Waqf law in Murshidabad, North 24 Parganas, Hooghly and Malda districts of West Bengal. More than 300 people were arrested in the case. To calm the situation in Bengal, the Central Government deployed 1600 personnel in violent areas, of which 300 BSF personnel are.
After 4 days of Bengal violence, the situation there is gradually becoming normal. Shops are opening back and people are leaving the houses. Local people are also demanding a quiet atmosphere. Many people say that if the BSF moves, the situation may deteriorate from back, so they want to have a permanent deployment of BSF.
