Harshal Patel holds the record for taking most wickets in the league stage of a season of IPL. He took 30 wickets in the league stage in 2021. In this case, Lasith Malinga (2011, 27 wickets) is at number two and Yuzvendra Chahal (2022, 26 wickets) and James Faulkner (2013, 26 wickets) are jointly at number three.
