The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Class X and XII second session (second term) board examinations offline from April 26. The board, after discussions with various stakeholders and keeping in mind the situation of corona in the country, has decided to conduct the second session board examination only offline. He said that the written examinations will start from April 26, 2022. The detailed exam schedule of class X and XII will be released soon. Due to the Corona epidemic, it was decided to conduct the examination of the current academic session twice. The examinations of the first session were also conducted offline.
IIT Delhi launched website for preparation of competitive exams
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has launched a website to help students preparing for competitive exams. Through this website, students engaged in the preparation of examinations like engineering, medical etc. can also ask their questions to the teachers of IITs. Students of class XI and XII will be helped through this website. Through the website ‘WWW.IITPAL.IITD.IN’, students can ask questions related to Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. This is an initiative of the Union Ministry of Education and IIT Delhi. This website is specially developed to help such students who do not have access to coaching or good teachers.
This year the Joint Entrance Examination will be conducted in two phases.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) may conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main to be conducted for engineering courses for 2022 in two phases. These phases will be conducted during April and May. Last year, the JEE Main examination was conducted in four phases, which started in February, in view of the academic activities disrupted due to the Corona epidemic and the unconventional preparations of the students. The students were given an option by NTA to appear in all the stages and out of these only the best score and rank was considered final. However, this year due to different circumstances, NTA is thinking of conducting this exam in two phases only.
Allahabad University will give free education to the children who have lost their parents from Corona
Allahabad University is going to give a big relief to the students who have lost their parents in the Corona pandemic. Allahabad University has announced that it will not charge any educational fee from students who have lost both their parents to COVID. Along with this, the university will also waive 50 percent of the hostel fee for the academic session 2021-22. The decision to waive the total educational fee and 50 percent of the educational fee has been taken keeping in mind the situation of COVID. Explain that this concession will be applicable to all the students of the university and its affiliated colleges. However, an official statement said that this provision will not be applicable for students who have lost only their parents.
Online course of Spanish, French started in IGNOU
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has started online certificate courses in two foreign languages. These courses are started by the Foreign Language School of the University.
