Mumbai: Recently a heart-wrenching news came from South Cinema. Actress Arundhati Nair was admitted to the hospital in a seriously injured condition six days ago, who is now fighting for her life. The actress’s family needs financial help for her surgery, but no one came forward to help Arundhati in this difficult time. Arundhati Nair’s co-star and close friend Remya Joseph gave information in this regard on Wednesday and said that the condition of the actress is critical.
Arundhati was returning home by bike with her brother on the night of 15 March. Then an auto hit the bike near the house. He was immediately admitted to Anantapuri Hospital after the accident. Arundhati’s brother suffered minor injuries in this accident, but the actress was badly injured. Even after the news came out, no one from the Tamil industry has come forward to help the actress.
Talking about this, Remya Joseph said- ‘Arundhati has done five films as a lead actress in Tamil. She is so seriously injured that till yesterday doctors suspected that she might be brain dead. Yet, no one from the Tamil film industry or its Nadigar Sangam contacted us. I know it’s not necessary, but it would have been nice if someone had called and asked how she was, forget about financial help.
Remya said, ‘Although she was born and brought up in Thiruvananthapuram, Arundhati has worked in only one Malayalam film so far and even then all she needed was a call from the Malayalam industry to get involved.’
Arundhati’s sister told PTI that when family and friends started a campaign to raise financial help for the injured actress, many people started trolling her. Arundhati’s sister said- ‘My sister is so seriously injured that she is being given priority in Ananthapuri hospital for the last few days. And yet, many people online are saying that this is all a scam. We have to deal with that kind of negativity when we are all running around in the hospital. ,
