BJP has once again fielded Bhojpuri star Dinesh Lal Yadav ‘Nirahua’ from Azamgarh seat in the Lok Sabha by-elections. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections too, Nirahua had contested from this seat on a BJP ticket, but he had to face defeat. After the resignation of Akhilesh Yadav, now the by-election is going to be held on this seat.
The struggle is no less: Dinesh Lal Yadav ‘Nirhua’, originally from Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh, is not interested in any identity today. He is counted among the top actors of Bhojpuri industry. Along with acting, singing, Nirhua has now started producing films and albums as well. Nirhua, who belonged to a very simple family, did not even have a bicycle at one time. His father used to work in Calcutta (now Kolkata) and the monthly income was only 3500 rupees. In this, wife and 5 children (2 sons and three daughters) had to be raised.
Childhood spent in the slum, but did not give up: Nirhua had told in an interview that since the financial condition of the family was not good, he and his brother also went to Kolkata with his father. Childhood was almost here. There was such a time that he did not even have a bicycle. Used to walk for many kilometers.
In the year 1997, Nirhua returned to his village and completed his B.Com studies. Although his mind was engrossed in song and music. Actually, Nirahua’s cousin Vijay Lal Yadav was a famous Birha singer and had a lot of status in his area. Nirahua considered him as his source of inspiration and one day dreamed of earning a name like him.
Star became overnight from an album: In the year 2003, an album of Nirhua came. Its name was ‘Nirhua Satal Rahe’. It was well liked and due to this he became a star overnight.
According to the affidavit given during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, then Nirhua had movable and immovable assets worth Rs 5 crore 93 lakh. There was also a loan of 54 lakhs. Along with this, he also has many luxury vehicles and land etc.
Owners of vehicles like Range Rover and Fortuner: According to the affidavit given in 2019, Nirahua has one Range Rover and one Fortuner. He also has a Pulsar bike in his name. There are also ornaments worth about Rs 16 lakh. Apart from this, there is also a flat in Mumbai, a commercial building in Gorakhpur and agricultural land worth Rs 1 crore.
