National Aeronautics and Space Administration i.e. NASA is going to put 4G network on the moon in collaboration with Nokia, for this NASA selected Nokia executive Nishant Batra.

A few days back there was talk about connectivity on the moon and now Nishant Batra, of Indian origin and currently working with Nokia, has achieved a big achievement. Nishant Batra is the person who will work to set up the first 4G mobile network on the moon.

For this, NASA has selected Nokia executive Nishant Batra. NASA is planning to send humans to the moon in 2024. In this sequence, NASA gave the Lunar Connectivity Project to Nokia in October 2020. Now NASA has entrusted the responsibility of providing mobile connectivity for its lunar mission to Nokia.
This wireless broadband communication system, which will be built on the lunar surface by the end of 2022, will allow astronauts to have voice and video communication. Plus you can run a 4G network on the moon and make calls to your home from your own device.
Let us tell you that Nishant, born in Delhi in 1978, did his bachelor’s degree from Madhya Pradesh while further studies from United Kingdom. Batra’s job is to provide mobile connectivity to NASA’s ambitious Artemis Moon mission landing program on behalf of Nokia. Nishant Batra is the Global Head of Strategy and Technology of Nokia Company in Finland. He is responsible for the technical architecture and research activities at Bell Labs. Nishant is a graduate in computer applications as well as a master’s degree in telecommunication and computer science from South Methodist University.
