Cricket Australia has said that they are ready to host a series with Asian arch-rivals Pakistan and India. The whole world wants to see this series. Cricket Australia chief Nick Hockley said on Wednesday (March 9) that his board has not discussed the proposal but is ready to host Pakistan and India in a tri-series.
Pakistan and India’s rivalry has been confined to ICC tournaments and the Asia Cup, as the two countries haven’t had a bilateral series for a decade due to strained relations. The last time the two teams played a bilateral series was in 2012. Then India hosted three ODIs and two T20 matches.
