Airtel has recently launched two new prepaid plans with 30 days validity as per the order of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). One of these plans is Rs 319. The biggest feature of the plan is that it offers full 30 days validity to the customers. Reliance Jio offers a plan similar to Airtel’s Rs 319 plan, but Jio’s plan comes with a validity of 28 days and not 30 days as Airtel is offering. The Jio plan we are talking about here is a plan of Rs 299. Let’s take an in-depth look at the benefits of both these plans and see why Airtel’s plan is better.
What is available in Airtel prepaid plan of Rs 319
Airtel’s Rs 319 prepaid plan comes with 2GB daily data for 30 days. This means that the user will get 60GB of total data in a month in this plan, which is enough for an average user. Apart from this, this plan comes with unlimited voice calling and daily 100 SMS. Apart from this, the plan also includes Airtel Thanks benefits such as Wink Music, Shaw Academy, Apollo 24|7 Circle, and more.

Now let’s see what Jio has to offer…
What is available in Jio prepaid plan of Rs 299
Jio’s Rs 299 prepaid plan is just Rs 20 cheaper than Airtel’s Rs 319 plan. With Jio’s plan also, users get 2GB daily data, but only for 28 days. So the total data offered by this plan is 56GB. Now note that Airtel is offering 4GB more data than this Jio by charging an extra Rs 20 with an additional validity of 2 days. This plan of Jio comes with unlimited voice calling and daily 100 SMS. Additional benefits included with this plan include subscription to Jio apps. Explain that after the consumption of FUP data, the speed will drop to 64 Kbps with both Airtel and Jio plans.
If seen, Airtel’s plan is clearly a better option here as it offers a more value for money deal to the customers. Also, since it is a 30 days plan, users can recharge easily.
