Washington: Israel exposed the human rights violations of the Government of Pakistan in the United Nations. In the review meeting of the United Nations Human Rights Council, Israel demanded Pakistan to lift the ban on homosexuality. Pakistan has made a strict law against homosexuality under the pressure of Muslim fundamentalists. Not only this, Israel strongly raised the issue of disappearance of Baloch in Pakistan, violence, action against peaceful demonstrations and violence against religious minorities. Now the government of Pakistan has become enraged on this. The situation is that now a war of words has started between the two countries. In fact, the human rights report on Pakistan was presented in the 53rd session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva. During this, Israel selectively attacked Pakistan and exposed it. In its suggestion to Pakistan, Israel said that it should give legal recognition to homosexuality under the standard of international human rights. Israel said that the human rights situation in Pakistan has become very worrying.
TTP terrorists are in Pakistan, not Afghanistan, Shahbaz government’s responsibility…Pakistan red on Israel’s statement
Israel said that people are being forcibly abducted in Pakistan and violence against religious minorities is being carried out. Pakistan has to stop it. Israel was referring to the violence against Hindus and Christians. In the last few months, attempts have been made to demolish many temples in Pakistan. Hindus have even been forcibly converted. The Shehbaz government is furious after Israel exposed Pakistan.
Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch has called it a politically motivated statement. He said that Pakistan can work for the protection of human rights even without consulting Israel. He said that Israel has a long history of oppression of the Palestinian people. Pakistan’s Climate Change Minister Sherry Rehman condemned Israel’s statement and claimed that both India and Israel support Imran Khan.
