New Delhi. Prime Minister of the country PM Modi is going to visit Kashmir this week and before that a terrorist encounter took place in Sunjuwan on the outskirts of Jammu on Friday. This encounter site is located just 24 km away from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s program in Samba district. It is to be known that PM Modi is going to visit Samba on Sunday. Two Pakistani terrorists have been killed in an encounter with CISF early today. In this, a CISF jawan was also martyred and 6 soldiers were injured. In view of the PM’s visit to Kashmir, security agencies have put the area on high alert and the army has also started a search operation in the Sunjwan military camp and its surrounding areas. Sniffer dogs and drones are being used in this operation. A high-level meeting of police and intelligence agencies will be held during the day to review the security arrangements ahead of the PM’s visit.

Officials informed that mobile internet services have been suspended due to security. Apart from this, classes have been suspended in all private and government schools in and around that area due to security arrangements. Tight security arrangements have been made in the entire area. This is Prime Minister Modi’s first visit to Jammu and Kashmir after the special status of Jammu and Kashmir was abolished in August 2019.
