New Delhi. Maruti Suzuki has started booking its new generation Alto K10. Customers will be able to book this new car launched by Maruti Suzuki, one of the oldest car companies in the country for just Rs 11,000. Alto K10 can be booked through Arena dealerships or through the company’s official website. Maruti is planning to launch the new generation Alto K10 this month i.e. on 18th August. Its engine will be built on a different platform from the current model. Apart from this, many major changes are also expected to be made in its outlook and interior. For the new Alto too, the company will use the same old platform that the company has been using for its S-Presso, Celerio, Baleno and Ertiga.
The new car will also be sold along with the current Alto 800. In the markets, this car will be launched in a total of 12 variants including 8 manual and 4 automatic transmission. In this new variant of Maruti, customers can get to see all black interior. Apart from this, it will also get four power windows, electrically adjustable ORVM digital instrument cluster, remote key, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, power windows, rear parking sensors and manual air conditioning. Talking about safety features, it will also get ABS standard equipment, dual front airbags and rear parking sensors.
The 1.0 liter K10C DualJet petrol engine has been installed for power in Maruti Suzuki Alto K10. The company also uses the same engine in its Celerio and S-Presso, which produces 67 hp power at 6,000 rpm and 89 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. Not only this, a 5-speed manual and automatic transmission gearbox has also been installed in this new car.
