New Delhi. Peoples Democratic Party chief and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has once again raised the demand for restoration of 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. He asked the central government to restore Article 370 if they want to keep Kashmir. PDP chief says people of Kashmir are waiting to get back their lost respect.
Can’t live in Godse’s India
In fact, addressing a public meeting today, Mehbooba Mufti has again raised the demand for the restoration of 370 in Kashmir. In his address, the former CM said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir had decided our fate with Mahatma Gandhi’s India, which gave us Article 370 and our own constitution and flag. We want to live in Gandhi’s India, we cannot live in Godse’s India.
Kashmir issue needs to be resolved
During this, Mehbooba Mufti appealed to the people to unite. He says that his struggle in support of the restoration of special status by the Constitution and his voice will be vocal for protecting the identity and dignity of the people. If they snatch everything from us, then we will also take back our decision. In such a situation, they have to think that if they want to keep Jammu and Kashmir with them, then they will have to restore Article 370 and solve the Kashmir issue.

Significantly, this is not the first time that former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has raised the demand for restoration of special status of Kashmir. Rather, all the leaders of Jammu and Kashmir including Mehbooba Mufti and many opposition parties were also against it. On 5 August 2019, the central government abolished Article 370 from Kashmir. At the same time, many leaders including Mehbooba Mufti were placed under house arrest for months after the abrogation of Article 370 from Kashmir.
