Rajkummar Rao is one of the well-known actors of Bollywood. Rajkumar has acted in all kinds of films and he breathed life in every character. This is the reason that today his name is included in the big actors. Like every struggling actor, Rajkumar had to face a lot of troubles. There was a time when it was difficult for him to survive in Mumbai called Mayanagari.
Rajkumar attended the India Today event, where he spoke about the evergreen issues of the film industry, nepotism and the success of South films. The actor told how he has reached this stage by working hard. First he was a student in Mumbai, then he stumbled for acting. Rajkumar said, “It was very difficult to be an outsider in Bollywood. I grew up in a joint family in Gurgaon and it was a small town at that time.”
Rajkumar used to go 70 km away to learn acting: “I was fond of acting since childhood, I loved cinema from childhood and knew what to do. I used to cycle 70 kms to the theaters in Delhi. It was like you were going to meet your girlfriend. I worked very hard during the theater time, I learned as much as I could.”
The actor told that later he shifted to Mumbai, but it was very difficult. Rajkumar said, “There was a time when I had spent the day with Parle-G packet and Rs 18 in my account. Luckily I had some friends from film school who helped me. But I didn’t have any other plan and I just wanted to be an actor.”
Let us inform that Rajkumar won the hearts of the audience with his acting in the films ‘Love Sex Aur Dhoka’ and ‘Ragini MMS’. After this he did films like ‘Shaheed’, ‘Kai Po Che’ and ‘Aligarh’.
