LML Electric has signed an agreement to form a joint venture with German electric hyperbike maker eROCKIT AG. This announcement from the company’s side comes a few days after the decision about its plan to return to India.
Hyperbike will be produced in large numbers
The objective of this joint venture is to produce a large number of electric hyperbikes for the Indian market.
From 1980 to early 2000, LML scooters were very popular in the Indian market. The company manufactured scooters, mopeds and even motorcycles. Now the company is planning to make a comeback with a new product segment, electric scooter.
What is a hyperbike?
eROCKIT is a pedal-powered electric motorcycle, also known as a hyperbike, that moves smoothly with pedaling. It has a top speed of over 90 km/h, which comes with advanced battery and electric direct drive motor.
