Sonkachh (Naiduniya News). The Municipal Council Sonkachh had recently taken action against Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited for taking water from Kalisindh river. Panchnama was made by cutting a pipe inserted in the river. There was a warning not to drain the water. The company put pipes in Kalisindh river late on Friday evening without informing the city council and started testing the pipeline. As soon as the information was received, the NAP team reached the spot, made Panchnama. Stopped taking water again. Action was taken on the instructions of CMO Ravi Bhatt.
NAP officials say that we did not give any permission to take water. While on the other hand the company officials say that they had obtained written permission from the SDO of Water Resources Department, Mohammad Hanif Nagori. According to the instructions received by the company from Nagori, Rs 4,000 has also been deposited. Only after that this work is being done. The company says that after testing the use of water, we will release it back into the Kalisindh river, but according to the citizens of the city, it is used for drinking water from the dam. If the dirty water from the pipeline is found, it will not be used for drinking. People say that the company can take water by taking its pipeline to the water which is not potable.
The company has deposited the amount as per rules, after which permission has been given by me. Dam belongs to the Irrigation Department, so permission has been given. NAP has been given the responsibility of dam for drinking and daily use of the people of the city, whose fee has not yet been deposited by NAP.
Mo. Hanif Nagori, SDO, Water Resources Department
I am the servant of the people, it is my first duty to give water to the people of the city. I have stopped this work for the purpose of getting clean water in the city, so that the people of the city should not face any shortage of water. I do not want the people of the city to get dirty water and the problem should happen in the coming times.
