New Delhi. The party has a big responsibility to Sunil Bansal, who won the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Uttar Pradesh elections. Sunil Bansal has been appointed as the National General Secretary of the party. Apart from this, the party has now put the responsibility of Mission South on Sunil Bansal’s shoulders. He has also been given the charge of three important states. Sunil Bansal has also been given the responsibility of state in-charge of West Bengal, Orissa, Telangana. This information has been given by BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh. While releasing the letter, he wrote, “BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda has appointed Sunil Bansal, State General Secretary (Organisation) Uttar Pradesh as National General Secretary of the party. Sunil Bansal will be responsible as the state in-charge of West Bengal, Odisha and Telangana.
However, it will be difficult for him to increase the party’s base in these three states. Sunil Bansal is considered an election management mastermind and a big player. He has strengthened the party at the booth level and has been instrumental in helping the party win the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha as well as the 2017 and 2022 assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh.
Apart from this, he is also considered close to Amit Shah. Sunil Bansal’s name first came in the headlines at that time. When in the year 2014, BJP won 71 seats out of 80 Lok Sabha seats. Let us inform that earlier Ram Madhav was also made General Secretary in the party from the organization. Apart from this, BJP National President JP Nadda appointed Dharampal Singh as General Secretary (Organization) of the party in Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, Karmaveer Singh was appointed as the General Secretary (Organization) of the party in Jharkhand.
