Meanwhile, the Central Mountaineering Team of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) climbed Mount Karzok Kangri in Ladakh under difficult conditions on February 20. The minimum temperature here these days is -40 degree Celsius. This was the first ascent of Karjok Kangri mountain.

Terrorist attack averted in Jammu, OGW of TRF caught with grenade
The Jammu Police on Tuesday night arrested an Overground Worker (OGW) of the terrorist organization TRF with a grenade, foiling the terror attack in the city. The OGW has been nabbed from the Narwal area of the city. Where was he going with the grenade, the police is questioning him about this. Based on the interrogation of OGW, the police has now started searching for his associates. Shakir Ahmed Naikoo, an overground worker, is a resident of Shopian, Kashmir. A grenade was recovered from him.
