MUMBAI: Sony BBC Earth creates a sense of hope and inspiration among people through its positive storytelling and in-depth information content. There is definitely something in the treasury of this brand for everyone, and especially for the younger generation, as they are the future custodians of our earth. Promoting these children towards a sustainable future, Sony BBC Earth is back with the second edition of ‘Young Earth Champions’. This competition is looking forward to create a competitive ground for the students of class 6th to 9th with renewed vigor and passion.
This year’s theme is based on the conversation around the need for ‘conservation’. The competition is expected to bring forth new ideas to conserve the earth’s resources – water, land, wildlife and forests, and energy. Conserving our resources and finding its alternative means is essential to maintain the balance of nature and today’s children are very vocal and aware on this subject. To take this message to the public, Sony BBC Earth has joined hands with actor Jim Sarbh, a strong advocate of sustainability and environmental protection, for this campaign.
