Chandauli News: In Chandauli district, police have taken major action against 32 people who drink alcohol and spread chaos in public places. Along with this, strict steps have also been taken on 5 persons who illegally encroached. This campaign has been run not only to maintain law and order, but also to ensure peace and security in the society. According to police officials, such action will make public places safe.

The police targeted people who were intoxicated around liquor shops and public places under this campaign. Apart from taking legal action against these people, the police is also making them aware. Policemen are explaining them about physical, economic and social losses caused by alcohol and drug consumption. Its purpose is not only to punish, but bring people on the right path.

This campaign of the police was not limited only to the addicts, but action was also taken against those who committed illegal encroachments. Action has been taken against 5 people under Section 34 of the Police Act. This step has been taken to maintain the beauty and system of the city.
