Realme’s partner brand Dizo recently launched its new smartwatch Dizo Watch S. The USP (Unique Selling Point) of this smartwatch is its display. It has a rectangular shaped display. The smartwatch has been priced at Rs 2,299, though it will be sold at an introductory price of Rs 1,999 on the day of sale. Many fitness and health tracking features have been given in it. So will this unique display smartwatch be the right gadget for you? Let us know in this review of ours:
display and design
The smartwatch comes in a compact size box. Apart from your smartwatch, the charging cable and user manual are also included in the box. It has been brought in three color options – Classic Black, Golden Pink and Silver Blue. We got Silver Blue color for review. The display of the smartwatch looks a bit different. Between the design of square and circular shape, this display can make you feel a little different. This sometimes reminds me of the fitness bands of other companies in the market. Curve body and metal frame have been used in this.
Dizo Watch S sports a 1.57-inch rectangular display with a touch screen and 200×320 pixels resolution. There is also a protection of curved glass on the display. There is a metal frame to give a sturdy design and attractive appeal. The touch response of the display is good. You can also adjust its brightness according to your own. As a customization, more than 150 watch faces have been supported in the smartwatch. The screen is quite slim. The strap of the smartwatch is also of very good quality, which you can adjust from 150 to 215mm.
Sports mode and health features
You can connect the smartwatch to your smartphone through the Dizo App. It can be connected with Android and iOS devices. The smartwatch has over 110 sports modes, including running, walking, cycling, gymnastics, yoga, cricket, and football. Keeping your health in mind, features like blood oxygen level (SpO2) monitoring along with heart rate and sleep monitoring have also been provided. Along with this, it generates weekly, monthly and annual report records based on step count, calories burned and distance.
It has a water drink reminder and a sedentary reminder. The Sedentary Reminder feature reminds you to get up from your desk and do some activity in case you are unsteady or sitting for a long time. By connecting to a smartphone, you can take advantage of features like call reject or mute, music control, phone camera control. You get notifications of messages, social media apps, WhatsApp, and email on the smartphone itself. However, you are not able to reply to the message. Apart from this, it does not support English messages properly. It also has features like Flash, Alarm and Find My Phone.
how is the battery
It has a 200mAh battery. The company claims that a single charge can give up to 10 days of battery life and up to 20 days of standby time. The company’s claim regarding battery backup is true to a great extent. Its 25 percent battery lasted comfortably for 2 to 3 days. At the same time, talking about the charging speed, it gets charged 25 percent in half an hour and 55 percent in 1 hour. The smartwatch comes with an IP68-rating which means dust and water resistant.
