WhatsApp is widely used around the world to communicate and stay connected with friends, families, co-workers and loved ones. But there are some chats that we do not want to share with anyone. There are also some chats that you do not want to save or delete. What can you do in such situations? If you want, you can hide or archive your WhatsApp chats. You might not know but WhatsApp offers its users an archive chat feature, which allows users to hide an individual or group chat from their chat list to better organize the conversation.
It may be noted that archiving a chat does not delete the chat or back it up to your SD card or iCloud. Archived individual or group chats are archived when you receive a new message from that person or group chat. You also won’t receive notifications for archived chats until you’re mentioned or answered. Check out the step-by-step guide below to hide chats on iPhone and Android.
