Sony today on May 11 has launched a 4th generation mid-range smartphone called Sony Xperia 10 IV. While the design of the device remains the same as its earlier phone, it comes with better internals. Let us tell you that Sony does not launch smartphones like other companies, its phones are full of new and special technology. The new Xperia 10 IV is a flagship model and features the world’s first true periscope optical zoom 85-125mm lens with up to 5x zoom. The Xperia 10 IV has been touted as the world’s lightest 5G smartphone (161g).

The smartphone will be available for sale starting next month in four color options – Black, White, Mint and Lavender, priced at €499 (approximately Rs 40,700).

Display: The Sony Xperia 10 IV sports a 6-inch OLED display with Full HD+ screen resolution and 21:9 aspect ratio. It offers a brighter triluminous panel which the company claims is 50 percent brighter than its predecessor. It also has Gorilla Glass Victus for protection.
Processor: Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset. This new processor is manufactured using 6nm process. It packs 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
Camera: The smartphone packs a 12-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and an 8-megapixel 2x telephoto lens. It comes with features like Superior Auto Mode, Auto HDR, a dedicated Night Mode, and more. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel snapper for selfies and video calling.
battery: It runs the latest Android 12 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own custom user interface. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery and comes with 30W fast charging. Like many recently launched devices, it does not come with a charger in the box. Other features on the device include a 3.5mm headphone jack, LDAC support, 360 Audio and a 360 Reality audio upmix that converts stereo to surround sound. The phone is also IP68 rated to make it water and dust-resistant.
