BOE’s 95-inch display has arrived if you want to enjoy the cinema hall at home and enjoy movie-shows with the family. In fact, at International Display Week, Chinese display maker BOE Display has introduced a 95-inch 8K OLED display as its latest product. Although 8K display screens aren’t among TP-selling smart TVs at the moment, BOE envisions moving into 8K displays in a short time. The resolution of 8K display is up to 7680×4320 pixels. It comes with a 1M to 1K display contrast ratio along with support for 120Hz refresh rate and 99% DCI-P3 wide color gamut.
What is special in the display, know
– The new 95-inch OLED screen adopts 8K high aperture ratio based on transparent capacitive pixel design, which effectively improves the aperture ratio of the backplane. The TV also packs an ultra-narrow frame design. Under the condition of high charging rate and ensuring high uniformity of the backplane, the display peak brightness can reach 800nits, while the average brightness is 150nits which is being said to be the industry leading level.

In addition, the Smart Display is equipped with an HDR algorithm based on the OLED “True Black” display effect, enabling it to achieve millions of ultra-high contrast ratios and 10 bits of color depth.
– The 95-inch OLED display uses BOE’s super-large OLED oxide backplane technology, which is based on a series of technologies such as ultra-thick metal deposition technology, deep hole etching technology, and oxide TFT structure optimization. It is also equipped with drive compensation algorithms to further improve the uniformity and stability of the super-large 8K resolution OLED display to achieve the desired quality and to ensure that images moving through the display at high speeds do not blur .
The case of super-large OLEDs is another flagship product for BOE after its remarkable forays in the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) space.
