After Airtel, now the telecom company Vodafone-Idea (Vi) has given a big blow to its users. This decision of the company can have a great impact on the free entertainment of the users. According to the report of TelecomTalk, Vodafone-Idea, like Airtel, has also reduced the Amazon Prime subscription available in its postpaid plans from one year to 6 months. This major change in the company’s postpaid plans has come into effect from April 1.
It is a matter of relief that apart from Amazon Prime subscription, the company has not made any changes in other benefits available in the plan. The plans in which the company has made these changes include individual plans as well as family and REDX plans.

Amazon had increased the tariff of Prime membership
Amazon had increased its Prime membership annual charge from Rs 999 to Rs 1499 a few months ago. To deal with this price rise, Airtel and Vodafone-Idea have reduced the validity of 1-year free Prime membership for users to 6 months in their postpaid plans. Vodafone-Idea has now extended the Prime membership available in its premium REDX postpaid plan to 6 months, which is a bit strange to hear.
Reliance Jio is still giving one year membership
Reliance Jio has not made any changes in its postpaid plan yet, despite the cost of Amazon Prime. The company is still giving free membership of Amazon Prime to its users for one year. However, it is being speculated that the company may also make changes in its plans like Airtel and Vodafone-Idea in the coming days.
