Haapur News: An important review meeting was held in the Collectorate Auditorium on Thursday under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Abhishek Pandey. The meeting reviewed the performance of the departments on the CM dashboard portal along with construction projects costing more than 50 lakhs and less than 50 lakhs in the district. In the meeting, the District Magistrate gave a clear message to the officials and said that “negligence will not be tolerated at any level. Special attention will have to be paid to both quality and time limit.”

Special eye on big construction works

Information was given by the District Earth and Statistics Officer that many important projects of more than 50 lakh are going on in the district. Prominent among them are –

Government Women’s College Dhaulana

Cow protection center dhulana

Construction of Brajghat in Garhmukteshwar

Construction of ITI building

Reviewing these schemes, the District Magistrate directed that the construction of ITI building should be completed within the stipulated time and transfer to the concerned department, so that the students can get the benefit in time. He said that projects like women colleges and cow protection centers are extremely important for the society, so no delay in them will be acceptable.

Small schemes were also closely reviewed

Projects costing less than 50 lakhs included schemes associated with Government Inter College and other educational institutions under the Child Development Project Office, Garhmukteshwar, Project Alankar. The District Magistrate said that small projects are also directly connected to the needs of the general public, so they should be completed with priority.

No compromise on quality

During the meeting, District Magistrate Abhishek Pandey gave strict instructions to the officials and said – “Keep regular communication and surveillance with the working organizations. If there is a problem at any level, inform the high officials immediately. It is the responsibility of every department to complete the work on time and with quality. There will be no shortage of any kind in these works being done with public money.”

Weak demonstration departments reprimanded on CM dashboard

The meeting of the district on the CM dashboard portal was also reviewed in the meeting. The District Magistrate found that the ranking of several departments is in C, D and E category, on which he expressed displeasure. He directed that all departmental officers should do data feeding right and time. The rank of departments should ensure improvement till the next review meeting. The District Magistrate and Block Development Officer should monitor the data feeding of the employees at their respective levels. He said that the CM dashboard portal is connected to the government’s priorities and the credibility of the district is also related to it, hence negligence is unnecessary.

Attempt to increase the pace of development

The District Magistrate also clarified that it is the top priority of the administration to complete all the projects running in the district in a timely manner. For this, departmental officers were instructed to implement effective strategy. He said that all departments should maintain coordination with each other so that there is no disruption in the work.

Chief Development Officer Himanshu Gautam, District Development Officer, Chief Medical Officer, District School Inspector, District Panchayat Raj Officer, District Agriculture Officer, District Horticulture Officer, District Social Welfare Officer, District Program Officer, District Earth and Statistics Officer, District Earth and Public Works Department, Electricity, Jal Nigam and Public Works Department, Electricity, Jal Nigam and Executive Engineer of Public Works, Jal Nigam and Irrigation Department were present in the review meeting.
