Independence Day 2021: The country is celebrating the 75th anniversary of Independence Day today. On this special occasion, all the countrymen are congratulating each other on the Independence Day. On this special occasion, Google celebrated Independence Day through a special doodle. Google has made a special doodle on India’s 75th Independence Day. This doodle has been designed by Kolkata-based artist Sayan Mukherjee. The doodle depicts the diverse dance forms of India, reflecting the historical progress and cultural traditions.
Bharatnatyam show
The Google doodle created by Mukherjee showcases the various forms of the country’s dance. This special doodle depicts the classical tradition of Bharatanatyam. Bharatanatyam is the oldest Indian dance form in India. It originated in Tamil Nadu 3,000 years ago. Apart from Bharatanatyam, the doodle also depicts Chhau dance which originated in the eastern states of Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha.
At the same time, Google said on the occasion of Independence Day that, ‘At the midnight of this day in 1947, India’s decades-old movement for independence came to an end. With independence, India became a sovereign republic. Today’s doodle, which has been painted by Kolkata-based guest artist Sayan Mukherjee, depicts India’s Independence Day and its cultural traditions built over centuries of historical progress.

PM Modi congratulates on Independence Day
