The rain rains from the sky has disturbed people. In view of this, instructions have come to close all types of government, recognized and private schools in Bareilly, Pilibhit and Aligarh districts in UP on 1 September. In Aligarh, the general public had to cross the road by sitting on a boat, during which all the citizens sitting on the boat also shouted slogans against the Municipal Corporation. On August 31, the continuous rains in Etah disturbed life. In view of waterlogging and bad weather, District School Inspector Dr. Indrajit has instructed all secondary and other board schools to be closed on 1 September 2025. While the common people are troubled by the rain, the farmers are definitely relieved. The markets have become a whole marsh. Farmers have benefited greatly from the rain in the countryside throughout the day. In the paddy, maize and millet crops standing in the field, farmers will not need irrigation for about five days. District Agriculture Officer Dr. Manveer Singh said that paddy, maize, millet will benefit from rain. There is no harm in any crop.
About four feet filled with water on the routes
Pilibhit district received continuous rain for eight hours on Sunday, with a total of 55 mm rainfall. The main routes of the city were flooded by about four feet, causing the market to close and people faced a lot of trouble in common life. In view of the waterlogging, the district administration declared a holiday on 1 and 2 September in all schools.
In Aliganj, there was waterlogging due to rain. With the weather being pleasant, people had to face many problems. At the same time, the market also remained light due to rain. People were worried about traffic due to waterlogging in the area. There was a situation of waterlogging in Aliganj’s Mohalla Radha Krishna, Mohalla Kazi, power house, fort road as well as Kotwali. Some roads in the town looked like a pond.
