Starting from a school in Gorakhpur in 1952, this institution is running 12,118 schools in 684 districts today. Dr. Malaviya said that Vidya Bharati schools are located in many remote areas of the country, including tribal areas and border districts. India borders Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, China and Myanmar, and Vidya Bharati has established 211 schools in 167 development blocks in these 127 border districts. In addition, the institution is also running more than 8,000 informal education centers across the country, providing free education facility to the disadvantaged sections of the society. Currently, more than 35.33 lakh students- students are studying in Vidya Bharati schools and are educating more than 1.53 lakh teachers.
In the concluding session of the workshop, Regional Organization Minister Hemchandra Ji said that if we talk about organizations like Vidya Bharati, the publicity department brings the cultural, educational and social work happening in schools to the society. This inspires the society and all the students, teachers and parents feel proud.
Earlier, the one -day provincial workshop of both the committees of the province was inaugurated by Hemchandra ji (Regional Organization Minister, Vidya Bharati Eastern UP) Dr. Saurabh Malaviya (Regional Minister, Vidya Bharati Eastern UP) with lamp lighting and wreath.
