A flying bat was seen in the business class of a flight going from Delhi to Newark on Friday morning.
You must have heard about the emergency landing of a flight. This has to be done due to an emergency or medical emergency, but have you heard that a flight has had to make an emergency landing due to a bat? Yes! This has happened and this has happened in Air India flight AI-104 flight! In fact, 20 minutes after this flight going from Delhi to Newark took off on Friday morning, a bat was seen flying in business class. Due to this, there was an atmosphere of panic among the people on the flight, because of this, the life of the people sitting in the flight came in danger. The condition got so bad that the flight had to be diverted and made an emergency landing in Delhi. Wildlife experts found the bat dead when the flight reached Delhi.

Let us tell you that Air India’s Boeing 777-ER aircraft is used for flight service between Delhi and Newark. Giving more details of the incident, DGCA officials said that the dead bats were fished out after inhaling smoke in the aircraft. A senior DGCA official said that Air India’s B777-300ER aircraft VT-ALM operates between Delhi and Newark. The plane was brought back due to the presence of bats in the cabin.
Although the number of passengers on board the Air India flight from Delhi to New Jersey is not known, the B-777ER aircraft used for the service can carry 344 passengers. The incident had put the lives of the crew including the passengers in danger.
