Aurangabad: The car carrying the wedding processions overturned in the ditch, five killed; two injured

A major accident happened in Aurangabad district on Sunday. The car of the processions returning from Baaghi village of Navinagar block of the district overturned in a ditch before the Kararbar river in Navinagar police station area. In this accident, five occupants of the car died on the spot while two people were injured. Among the dead are 18-year-old Abhay Kumar alias Karu, resident of Khajuri village of Chhatarpur police station in Jharkhand state, Akshay Kumar, resident of Sarma village of Chhatarpur police station area, Abhay Gupta, resident of Laxmi Nagar of Chhatarpur police station area, 19-year-old Ranjit Kumar, resident of Khatin of Chhatarpur police station, in the same village. 18-year-old Bablu Kumar is involved.

Among the injured, 18-year-old Gunjan Kumar and Mukesh Kumar alias Dhanu are being treated elsewhere. The procession had come from the house of Lord Saw in Khatin village of Chhatarpur to Dashrath Sau’s house in Baaghi village. After getting married, around 3:30 in the morning, seven people came out in a car. The car fell into a ditch breaking the railing on the side of a bridge built before the Kararbar river, about three kilometers from the village. There was an outcry at the spot, after which a crowd of people gathered. In this accident, 5 people died on the spot.

Hundreds of people gathered here after getting information about the accident. All the people were pulled out from the ditch and sent to Navinagar Hospital for treatment. Five people were declared dead here. After this, while treating two people, they were referred. All the bodies have been sent to Sadar Hospital, Aurangabad for post-mortem. Navinagar police station said that the car overturned in a ditch under the bridge due to which people died. All the dead bodies are being sent to their villages.
