There has been a tussle between Dungarpur MLA Ganesh Ghogra and officials for not giving lease for two days. A day earlier, after the SDM, Tehsildar and other employees were locked in the Panchayat Bhawan, the administration had registered a case of obstruction in the work of the Congress MLA and his supporters. After this, MLA Ganesh Ghogra has sent a letter of resignation from the post of MLA to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, State President Govind Singh Dotasra and District President.
Youth Congress President and MLA Ganesh Ghogra gave this information by holding a press conference at Dungarpur Circuit House on Wednesday evening. He told that people are demanding pattas and the officials are doing their own thing. People are not being given pattas despite everyone’s signature.
Ghogra wrote in his resignation letter to the Chief Minister, ‘I am a Congress MLA from Dungarpur. But it seems to me that despite being in these positions, my point of view is being ignored. The officers of my constituency are not ready to listen to me. The voice raised for the people of the area is being suppressed. That’s why I am resigning from the post of MLA. However, he has not sent a copy of the resignation to the Speaker.
