Rahul had also met senior party leaders of the state at his residence in Delhi on Wednesday.
After the humiliating defeat in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, the Congress party says that AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has worked as the B-team of the BJP in these elections. The Congress membership drive began on November 1 and the emphasis is on digital membership to better prepare the party for electoral challenges. The campaign is expected to be completed on March 31.
