New Delhi, March 26 (IANS) | The practice of work from home has increased amid the coronavirus pandemic. Meanwhile, a new survey has revealed that employees are also preferring to work remotely (work from home without going to the office). 62 percent of the employees surveyed said that they are happy working remotely.

Employees more trustworthy in the office
However, only five percent of the survey’s decision-makers believe that remote workers work more productively and 70 percent said that employees in the office are more trustworthy. The study found that 83 percent of employees believe they are more likely to stay at the company if they are allowed to work in a more flexible manner. Nearly 60 percent of respondents said they are also willing to accept a lower salary in an occupation for work flexibly.
The study, conducted using two online surveys, involved 582 remote work decision makers and 427 employees from global organizations.
