Special court sentenced
Let us inform that a special court in Indore has sentenced 6 accused including Digvijay Singh, former MP Premchand Guddu to one year imprisonment and a fine of five thousand rupees in a criminal case related to assault with BJP workers in Ujjain. Three accused were acquitted for want of evidence. The court has also granted bail to the convicts on the basis of suitable surety. According to the prosecution, Digvijay Singh, former MP Premchand Guddu and others had an altercation with BJP workers while attending an event in Ujjain in 2011. In this case, a case was registered against 9 people including Digvijay Premchand Guddu on behalf of BJP workers under various sections. The special court of Indore, set up to hear cases related to public representatives, has pronounced the sentence in this case yesterday.
