In view of the rush of passengers, the railway administration is going to run Holi special trains between Gorakhpur and Bihar via Lucknow from many states including Mumbai, Ahmedabad from March 14 and 15. Booking of seats in these trains has started. Seats are still vacant in sleeper and AC classes of Holi special trains on Sunday. Passengers can make the journey easier by making reservations in these trains in time.
Rekha Sharma, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Northern Railway Lucknow Division said that three pairs of special trains are being run on Holi. Apart from regular trains, passengers will be able to travel without reservation in general coaches installed in special trains.

More than 800 seats vacant in Shatabdi
Even though there is a tussle over the seats in Delhi trains, the vacant seats in Shatabdi and Tejas Express will give relief to the passengers. More than 400 seats are vacant in Tejas and 850 in Shatabdi on March 14, 15 and 16.
Lucknow to Delhi train fare reached Rs 2155
Despite the dynamic fare in Tejas and Shatabdi on March 14, 15 and 16, running between Lucknow and New Delhi, the fare has not increased much. The fare of Shatabdi chair car has reached only Rs 1390. Whereas after waiting in the executive class, the fare has reached Rs 2155. Due to lack of space in other trains of Delhi, passengers are turning to Tejas and Shatabdi.
