Pushkar Dhami will take oath as the 12th Chief Minister of Uttarakhand along with other members of his cabinet on Wednesday. Governor Gurmeet Singh will administer the oath of office and secrecy to the CM and other cabinet members. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also be present at the function.
The BJP is busy finalizing the preparations for the swearing-in ceremony to be held at the parade ground. Prime Minister Modi is likely to reach the venue at 2.30 pm. Along with this, BJP National President JP Nadda and many ministers of BJP ruled states will also be part of the program. The district administration has made additional security arrangements due to the Prime Minister attending the function.
On the other hand, on Tuesday, Dhami took information from Chief Secretary Dr. SS Sandhu about the preparations for the swearing-in. He has instructed the officers to make all arrangements at the venue.
Governor invites oath
Governor Gurmeet Singh has sent an invitation for oath to the new government. A letter has been sent to the Leader of the House Pushkar Dhami on behalf of the department of confidentiality. Dhami and 11 other cabinet members will take oath. The time of oath has been fixed by the Governor at 2:40 pm. Since Prime Minister August 2, 2021
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also be present in this program, the Governor can reach the venue by 2.30 pm.
Invitation to divisional level workers
BJP is busy finalizing the preparations for the swearing-in ceremony. State General Secretary Organization Ajay Kumar took a meeting of party officials in this regard. State media in-charge Manveer Chauhan informed that workers from all the districts will participate in the swearing-in. Invitations have been sent from Mandal level to Shakti Kendra workers. All the district heads have been asked for a list of the coming workers, so that arrangements can be made for them accordingly. Separate invitations have also been sent to all the 70 vistaraks of the assemblies.
Will worship in temples before oath
Before the swearing-in of Dhami and the cabinet members, BJP workers up to the Shakti Kendra level will perform puja for public welfare in local temples in the morning. The party has given these instructions to all the district heads. Along with this, prominent social workers, litterateurs, writers, enlightened classes, sages and saints of religious monastic temples have also been called in the oath taking.
