Differences have come to the fore in Chhattisgarh
About six months ago, differences between the Congress party had come to the surface in Chhattisgarh as well. Then there was a lot of tussle between the State Health Minister TS Singh Deo and Bhupesh Baghel over the CM’s chair. Even both the leaders and their supporters had paraded a lot in Delhi. There was a lot of tussle in Punjab Congress
Significantly, before the elections in Punjab, there was a tremendous internal conflict between the Congress. Here first differences emerged between Navjot Singh Sidhu and Captain Amarinder Singh. After this, Captain Amarinder Singh was removed from the post of Chief Minister and Charanjit Singh Channi was made the Chief Minister. However, the internal struggle within the party still did not end. This is proved from this that during the election, Navjot Singh Sidhu’s daughter had objected to her father not being made the CM face.
