The bike hit the wall while taking a selfie. Due to this, three of the four youths on the bike died. The fourth was seriously injured. The injured were referred to Patna. The accident took place on NH 431 near Koel Bigha Mor of Chandi police station area of Nalanda district on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Sonu Kumar, 18-year-old son of Subodh Mahato, resident of Sikriya village, Roshan Kumar, 21-year-old son of Shailendra Paswan, and Chandrakant Kumar, 18-year-old son of Ramcharan Ravidas, resident of Barah village in Kalyan Bigha OP area. The injured Chandan Kumar, a resident of Bhuapar village located in Belchi police station area of Patna district, has been referred. Injured and a dead youth used to work as a dancer in parties.
According to eyewitnesses, all the four youths on bike were going towards Harnaut. On a moving bike, a young man was trying to take a selfie with another dancing youth. Due to high speed, the bike collided with the wall of Baba Chauharmal temple. Police reached the spot and took the injured to the hospital. There the doctor declared three dead.
Villagers told that Launda dance took place in the village on Saturday night. On Sunday morning, two youths were going to take him to his house by bike. After the accident, there was chaos in Sikriya village. SHO Rituraj said that after the post-mortem, the body has been handed over to the family members.
